James Gillespie’s High School wishes to run a trip to Geneva in the last week of the summer term in 2016. The school has run this trip before with the pupils reporting very positive experiences.

Please note: This trip is open to S4 and S5 pupils only.

The main aim of this trip is to visit the Large Hadron Collider at the CERN facility. It is the largest single machine in the world, sitting at the cutting edge of theoretical and experimental science. Due to the nature of the CERN laboratory, it is also a place that demonstrates how international collaboration can lead to the advancement of our understanding of the universe.

If you are interested in sending your pupil on this trip, please fill out this short online form.
