At James Gillespie’s we have a proud tradition of leading excursions to the World War One Battlefields of Belgium and Northern France. For students this trip deepens understanding of the conflict and allows them to connect with the past.  It is open to S3 History students.

Relatives’ War Graves

You can find the location of graves by visiting the Commonwealth War Graves Commission at

http://www.cwgc.org/find-war-dead.aspx

Print off the details and give to your child to give to me. Or you can email me at ashleigh.kennedy@jamesgillespies.edin.sch.uk by Wednesday 18 April 2018. We will try our best to fit in a visit to the grave during our visit.
