Late October – February
A look at both traditional and popular music in French speaking countries across the globe.
Find out about famous musicians and pop stars in these countries.

Theme 3: Bon appétit!
Late February to April
Traditional foods and recipes in French speaking countries
Imagine you live in other French speaking countries. What do you typically eat for breakfast, lunch and dinner?
(Pancake Tuesday – cross curricular link with FHT)
design restaurant menus from different countries etc.
Theme 4: On va à Paris!
April to May
Paris Project – research what there is to see and do in the French capital.
Imagine you have visited and describe what you did, where you went etc.

End of year project: Un séjour dans un pays francophone
May to June
Describe an imaginary visit to a French speaking country and say what you did, what foods you ate. Make reference to traditional music and cultural aspects of the chosen country.
