The English & Literacy faculty at JGHS fosters a love of reading, critical thinking and creative expression. The curriculum spans novels, short stories, non-fiction, film, plays and poetry — with a strong focus on literary analysis, essay writing and creative work. The Library is at the heart of our reading culture, while ESOL and NPA Journalism extend the faculty’s reach across the school.
