Broad General Education

Pupils attend Business Education for 1 period a week in S2.  They will cover the Experiences and Outcomes from; Business contexts for developing technological skills and knowledge and People in society, economy and business.

They will do this by completing the following units:

  • Product Development
  • Introduction to Economics
  • Introduction to Business
  • Finance
  • Marketing

These units will allow pupils to develop the skills needed to continue into National Qualifications in Admin and IT, Business Management.

They will carry out various tasks including; using Microsoft Office Software, Internet Research, making use of Office 365, group discussion, watching video clips and working on Microsoft Teams.
