Support for families – The City of Edinburgh Council
Families on low incomes can receive the following support for their children attending school.
- free school meals
- payment for lunches during school holidays
- milk
- a school clothing grant to help buy school clothes

Signing up for Free School Meals can open up further support in school for your child and so it is worth applying even if your child does not intend to use the canteen.
